Staying Engaged with Next Stage
During the last half of 2007 and all of 2008, the University of Texas Performing Arts Center’s flagship venue, Bass Concert Hall, will be closed as it undergoes an extensive 18-month renovation. Bass will re-open in January 2009.

While this renovation ushers in an exciting next stage for the UT PAC, it also means that we will not present a traditional season with conventional programming next year. This closure period is also a time when we need the energy and commitment of our Circle of Friends donors and subscription Season Members more than ever.

To continue to earn your support during this transition period, we are offering several opportunities to donors and patrons to stay active with the organization. We are offering our Circle of Friends and previous season Members a unique slate of fine arts, Broadway and pop events, as well as an opportunity to keep or improve your seat locations when we re-open.

Pop Events at Hogg Auditorium
As you may have experienced over the past several years, Hogg Auditorium has had new life as a venue for a wide variety of fine arts and pop events. From David Byrne to Jeff Tweedy, Eric Johnson to Aimee Mann, and Joan Baez to McCoy Tyner, Hogg has really come to life. While we are raising funds for a major renovation of Hogg, the venue will remain open at least through the next year. Expect many more great performances at this historic West Campus jewel.

By staying involved at any level below, you will be the first to know about and the first to purchase tickets to our events in Hogg Auditorium.
