Overview
The Office of Community Relations oversees the PAC’s educational and community programming, which includes building bridges between the PAC and the UT, Austin and Central Texas community by working with organizations, schools, and members of the public.

Lifelong Learning, the PAC’s education program, offers informal settings to meet and learn from our visiting artists. Events such as post-performance Q&A's, workshops, master classes, lecture demonstrations, community potlucks and youth performances are available for K-12 students, adults and seniors, and occur on the UT campus as well as at community centers around Austin. A limited number of complimentary tickets to PAC performances are available for seniors and adults with special needs.

We have a number of opportunities and resources targeted specifically for teachers and middle and high school students, including tickets to PAC performances, curriculum materials, and in-school artist visits. The PAC also offers professional development opportunities for middle and high school teachers.  Visit our For Educators section for more information.

The PAC works closely with Del Valle ISD through our Performing Arts and Academic Collaborative.  Though this collaboration, Del Valle students--particularly the Classes of 2010 and 2012--experience the fine and performing arts in their schools and on the UT campus.  These experiences are then carried into the students' English classrooms to serve as inspiration for the academic work they do.

To see our programs in action, visit the Projects & Photos section, which contains pictures and descriptions of some of the many events we have organized in recent seasons.

We are pleased to again have the support of Tokyo Electron America, The Roy F. & Joann Cole Mitte Foundation, and Texas Women for the Arts. For more information about volunteer opportunities and sponsorship, call the Community Relations Office at 512-471-6376.
