Where is the best place to park? BACK TO TOP
For Bass Concert Hall, Bates Recital Hall and McCullough Theatre events, we recommend you park along Robert Dedman Drive or along Trinity Street.  Spaces are limited in these areas, so it's best to arrive early.  There are plenty of spaces in the parking lots just east of the LBJ library and the Thompson Conference Center, (just off Red River) which is a 5-minute walk from car to front door of Bass.  Parking is free in all these areas.  For $8, you can park in Parking Garage 3 (Robert Dedman Drive and Clyde Littlefield) or Parking Garage 1, located on Trinity.  Both are also 5-minute walks to the theatres.

For Hogg Auditorium, there are many parking options available within a few blocks from the auditorium.  Ample parking is available in Parking Garage No. 2, located at San Antonio and West 25th.  Please note there is an admission fee of $8. There are non-university-affiliated public parking lots in the area which also charge a nominal fee.  A limited number of free parking spots are available on campus.

Where is handicapped parking located? BACK TO TOP
Special parking is available along the west side of Robert Dedman Drive (building side) just north of 23rd Street for drivers who have Department of Public Safety handicapped parking permits or plates. Additional handicapped permit parking is available in Lot 88 on the north side of Memorial Stadium, accessible from 23rd Street.

What is your policy on tickets for children? BACK TO TOP
Children are welcome at the Performing Arts Center. For PAC Season events, children three years of age and under do not require a ticket and are allowed to sit on their parent/guardian's lap during the performance. For Broadway events (e.g. The Lion King), everyone entering the hall must have a ticket regardless of age. If the child cries or is disruptive to other audience members, the child and parent/guardian may be asked to exit  the theatre and view or listen to the event in the lobby. There are no refunds. Tickets purchased for children must be in the same seating area as, and adjacent to, the parent/guardian.
Where do I get information on Theatre & Dance, Opera Theatre or School of Music performances? BACK TO TOP
